It is also known as National Stadium. It is one of the most iconic stadiums in Qatar. It opened in 1976 with a capacity of 45,416 spectators and was renovated in 2017. It has hosted several top international matches like the Asian Games, the Gulf Cup and the AFC Asian Cup. It will hold games for Group B Round 2, Group F Rounds 1,2 and 3, a match for the round of 16 and the match that will determine the team to occupy the 3rd place.
